BACKGROUND: Office workers spend long hours in their workplace, and these environments impact their well-being and performance. This relationship can involve different mediation chains. The degree of complexity of this relationship can vary depending on different types of office work (work patterns) employees carry out. BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Chronic physical conditions and multimorbidity may be modifiable risk factors for dementia. However, data from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) are lacking. This study thus assessed the association of chronic physical conditions and multimorbidity with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in LMICs.
